AISI 347H, is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel known for its superior resistance to intergranular corrosion and its high-temperature strength. The addition of niobium prevents carbide precipitation during welding and exposure to high temperatures, thereby improving resistance to intergranular corrosion. Excellent resistance to oxidation up to 870°C (1600°F) during continuous exposure and up to 925°C (1700°F) for intermittent service. The superior properties of Alloy 347H make it suitable for Petrochemical Industry, Aerospace Industry etc.
