Product Introduction

Duplex 2205 stainless steel tubing outperform ordinary stainless steel pipes in terms of resistance to all kinds of corrosion as well as strength. They also perform well in aqueous environments and are particularly effective in seawater environments containing halogens. They are also suitable for high-pressure applications and are resistant to oxidation and stress-related corrosion. Alloy 2205 pipes have a higher yield strength of 550 MPa and an even higher tensile strength of 800 MPa, which is 2 to 3 times higher than the usual austenitic alloy pipes. They can withstand temperatures as low as -50°C and can be used at high temperatures up to 300°C.
