The pitting rate in 80℃ seawater is <0.01 mm/year, the critical pitting temperature (CPT) is ≥50℃, which is significantly better than 316L (CPT≈25℃), and the pitting equivalent (PREN=Cr+3.3Mo+16N) is 42-44.
