In environments such as seawater, chemical solutions, and acidic wastewater, its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is significantly better than that of ordinary austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316L, making it suitable for high corrosion conditions. ​

The yield strength can reach over 450MPa, which is 1.5-2 times that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel. The tensile strength is about 650-800MPa, which combines high strength and good plasticity. It can reduce the wall thickness of the pipe, lower the weight and cost of the project. ​
