Hastelloy C-2000 has a density of 8.5-8.69 g/cm³, a melting point range of 1335-1400℃, a thermal expansion coefficient of 12.0-12.4 µm/m·K (20-100℃), and a thermal conductivity of about 9.8-10.8 W/m·K, which is suitable for heat exchange equipment in high temperature environments.

Its mechanical properties are also outstanding, with a tensile strength of 690-779 MPa at room temperature, a yield strength of 283-393 MPa, and an elongation of 40-68%, combining high strength with good ductility. The high-temperature endurance strength remains at 45-75 MPa (100,000 hours) at 600°C, and the creep rupture time can reach 200,000 hours at 650°C/100 MPa, which is suitable for long-term high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.

Corrosion resistance of Hastelloy N06200

The corrosion resistance of Hastelloy C-2000 is its greatest advantage. In oxidizing media, the passivation film formed by the high chromium content effectively resists nitric acid (corrosion rate 0.01 mm/yr at 50% concentration) and iron ion solutions. In a reducing environment, the combination of molybdenum and copper significantly reduces the corrosion rate of hydrochloric acid (0.05 mm/yr at 5% concentration), sulfuric acid (0.1 mm/yr at 10% concentration) and hydrofluoric acid. Its resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) is better than that of traditional C-276 alloy, especially in complex media containing chlorides and halides.
