Nickel enhances the alloy's ductility and strength, making ASTM B165 UNS N04400 stronger and more flexible in extreme environments. Monel 400 special metal has a melting point of 1300°C, making it ideal for applications that require high temperature resistance. Alloy 400 tubes also have excellent thermal conductivity.
