Chemical composition of Alloy 201 plate

The nickel content is not less than 99.0%. By controlling the carbon content below 0.02%, the risk of carbide precipitation in high temperature environments is effectively avoided. The precise ratio of trace components such as iron (≤0.40%) and manganese (≤0.35%) in auxiliary elements not only maintains the purity of the material, but also optimizes the processing performance.

Physical performance of Nickel alloy 201 plate

The alloy 201 has a density of 8.89 g/cm³, a melting point spanning the range of 1435-1446℃, and excellent thermal stability. The unique combination of thermal conductivity of 62 W/(m·K) and resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m makes it perform well in scenarios where heat transfer and electrical conductivity coexist.

Corrosion resistance of Ni N02201 sheet

First, in reducing media, its surface passivation film can effectively resist the erosion of strong acids such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. secondly, in the face of strong alkaline environments such as sodium hydroxide, it remains stable even when the concentration reaches 50% and the temperature rises to the boiling point, more importantly, in molten salt and dry halogen media, its corrosion resistance far exceeds that of ordinary stainless steel.

During cold processing, it is recommended to control the deformation amount of each pass within 15%, and the intermediate annealing temperature is preferably 700-850℃.

Annealing treatment should be kept in the range of 760-925℃ and then quenched in water. When the treatment temperature exceeds 540℃, the sulfur content in the furnace should be controlled below 50ppm to prevent sulfur embrittlement.
