Product Introduction

17 4PH Plate is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of 17-4 PH are more perfect and the compressive strength can reach up to 1100-1300 MPa. This grade cannot be used above 300 ℃ (570f) or at very low temperatures. Good corrosion resistance to atmosphere and dilute acids or salts, with corrosion resistance similar to 304 and 430. 17-4 PH is known for its resistance to stress corrosion cracking. 630 stainless steel has very high elongation, even higher than many low alloy steels, mainly due to its high nitrogen content.

Machining:

AMS 5604 17-4PH steel plate has good processing performance and can be formed by a variety of processing methods. It has good cutting performance and can be used for machining operations such as cutting, drilling, milling and turning.

Cold forming:

ASME SA 693 17-4PH sheet can be formed by cold forming process. During the cold forming process, the steel plate has sufficient plasticity and can be formed by bending, pressing, rolling and other methods without serious deformation or cracking problems.

Hot Forming:

AISI 630 plate can be formed by hot forming process. Hot forming includes methods such as forging, hot rolling and hot extrusion.

Welding:

17-4PH Plate has good welding performance and can be connected by common welding methods. Including inert gas shielded welding (such as TIG welding), manual arc welding and resistance welding.
