Hastelloy X Plate (AMS 5536, ASTM B 435, UNS N06002), has strong oxidation resistance and high temperature strength. Alloy X plate is a solid solution strengthened steel with good strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F). 2.4665 Hastelloy X ASTM B435 exhibits good ductility after long term exposure to 16,000 hours at 1200, 1400, 1600°F (650, 760 and 870°C).
