Alloy N10276 Plate Chemical composition
The chemical composition of Hastelloy C276 is based on nickel (Ni ≥ 57%), and the core alloying elements include molybdenum (Mo 15-17%), chromium (Cr 14.5-16.5%), tungsten (W 3-4.5%) and trace iron (Fe 4-7%). The low carbon design (C ≤ 0.01%) significantly reduces the risk of carbide precipitation during welding and high temperature processing, thereby avoiding intergranular corrosion.

Corrosion resistance of Hastelloy C276 Plate
Acidic medium resistance of Hastelloy C276 Sheet
It can resist corrosion from concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid and mixed acid, especially in high temperature dilute sulfuric acid.
Chloride erosion resistance of Alloy N10276 Plate
It has significant tolerance to wet chlorine, hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide solution and high concentration chloride (such as FeCl₃, CuCl₂), and is one of the few materials suitable for seawater desalination and flue gas desulfurization.
Stress corrosion cracking resistance of 2.4819 Plate
In oil and gas environment containing hydrogen sulfide or high temperature chloride, its dual-phase structure can effectively delay crack propagation.

Cutting and forming of Hastelloy C276 Coil
Laser or plasma cutting is recommended. When cold forming, its high strength and cold hardening tendency (1-2 times that of carbon steel) should be considered. If necessary, hot forming should be used to reduce processing stress.
Welding process of C276 alloy
Matching welding materials (such as ERNiCrMo-4 welding wire or ENiCrMo-4 welding rod) are preferred, the interlayer temperature is controlled to ≤150℃, and argon is used to protect the back of the weld to prevent oxidation. The welding pool is viscous, and small current multi-pass welding is required to avoid cracks.
Heat treatment of UNS N10276 Sheet
The solution treatment temperature needs to reach 1100-1200℃, and rapid cooling is required to inhibit carbide precipitation and maintain corrosion resistance.
