alloy N06002 Chemical composition

The chemical composition design of Hastelloy X is based on nickel (Ni), supplemented by key elements such as chromium (Cr 20.5-23.5%), molybdenum (Mo 8.0-10.0%), iron (Fe 17-20%), cobalt (Co 0.5-2.5%), and tungsten (W 0.2-1.0%).

Alloy X Corrosion resistance

Molybdenum and tungsten enhance the resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing acid and chloride environments, and are suitable for corrosive media such as sulfur-containing and acidic gases.

Hot working of N06002 X Plate

The hot rolling temperature range is 1150-1170℃, and the final rolling temperature is not less than 850℃ to avoid grain coarsening affecting performance.After forging, solid solution treatment (1175℃±15℃ water quenching or rapid air cooling) is required to eliminate stress and optimize creep resistance.

Cold working of Hastelloy 2.4665 Plate

It needs to be carried out in the solid solution state, and the work hardening rate is higher than that of ordinary stainless steel. Intermediate annealing treatment is required when the deformation exceeds 10%.

Welding of Nickel alloy X

It is recommended to use low heat input TIG welding or plasma arc welding, and the interlayer temperature is controlled below 100℃. The weld area needs to be polished to a bright surface before welding, and no post-weld heat treatment is required.
