Monel n04400 pipe Corrosion Resistance

Seawater and Brine: Monel 400 exhibits excellent resistance to flowing seawater and brine solutions, with excellent resistance to cavitation and erosion corrosion, making it an ideal material for offshore engineering.
Hydrofluoric Acid and Fluorides: Monel 400 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid at all concentrations and temperatures below its boiling point, a performance unmatched by ordinary stainless steel.
Alkaline Solutions: Monel alloy 400 exhibits excellent resistance to alkaline media such as caustic soda (such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide), and is stable even at high temperatures and concentrations.

Seamless Tube: Manufactured through processes such as extrusion, piercing, and cold drawing/rolling. This seamless tube features uniform overall performance and enhanced pressure-bearing capacity, making it suitable for high-pressure, high-reliability, critical applications. Manufacturing standards generally adhere to ASTM B163 (Seamless Nickel and Nickel Alloy Tubing for Condensers and Heat Exchangers).

Welded Tube: Welded tube is formed from Monel 400 sheet by automated welding (such as TIG welding). Cold rolling, thinning, and sizing can be performed. It offers high production efficiency and relatively low cost, making it suitable for medium and low pressure applications. Manufacturing standards generally adhere to ASTM B725 (Welded Nickel and Nickel Alloy Tubing).
