ASTM B162 UNS N02201 Plate has excellent corrosion resistance to caustic soda and other alkalis. It performs best in reducing environments and can also be used in oxidizing conditions. AMS 5553 Nickel 201 is a solid solution strengthened industrial pure wrought material. Alloy 201 is a modification of Nickel Alloy 200 to control carbon (0.02 max) to prevent it from becoming brittle due to intergranular precipitates at temperatures between 600°F and 1400°F in many processes.
