• Immunity to pitting/crevice corrosion: In high-temperature seawater, salt spray, and chlorine-containing industrial media, the critical pitting temperature (CPT) and critical crevice temperature (CCT) far exceed those of conventional stainless steel, making it the first choice for seawater cooling systems and offshore platform pipelines.

 

• Resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC): In high-temperature water environments containing chloride ions, the SCC resistance is significantly better than that of 304/316 and even some duplex steels.

• Tough defense against inorganic acids: Excellent resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid, especially in industrial acids containing impurity ions.

• Vacuum melting purity control: VIM (vacuum induction melting) or VIM+ESR (electroslag remelting) process is used to control sulfur and phosphorus impurities to ≤0.01%, avoiding the origin of corrosion caused by non-metallic inclusions.

 

• Hot extrusion forming: Large-diameter thick-walled tubes (Φ≥300mm) adopt hot extrusion process, and the steel ingot penetrates the mold at a high temperature of 1200°C to form a seamless tube billet to ensure the integrity of the streamline.

 

• Cold working hardening: Thin-walled tubes (wall thickness <5mm) are subjected to multiple cold rolling/cold drawing, and the strength is increased by more than 30%, while obtaining a surface finish of Ra≤0.8μm.
