Local corrosion resistance of W.Nr 1.4435

By optimizing the PREN value, its critical pitting temperature (CPT) is 10-15°C higher than that of 316L, and it can withstand higher concentrations of chloride solutions (such as Cl⁻≥20000 ppm).

 

Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance of ss316lmod

In a chlorine-containing environment at 60-80°C, the SCC resistance is increased by 2-3 times, which is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure steam systems or coastal petrochemical units.

 

Mechanical strength of s316lmod

Nitrogen strengthening makes the tensile strength exceed 550 MPa, allowing the design of thinner wall thickness pipes (15-20% thinner than 316L), reducing material costs and system weight.

 

Weldability of Urea 316L
