Alloy 321 (UNS S32100) is a titanium stabilized stainless steel plate that has titanium added to stabilize the formation of chromium carbides. It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion when exposed to chromium carbide precipitation temperatures ranging from 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 816°C). SS321 can be used in applications up to 900°C, while 304 is typically used up to 500°C. wnr 1.4541 321 also has excellent forming and welding characteristics. Certified to AMS 5510, ASTM A 240, and SA 666.
