Duplex 2205 sheet (UNS S32205 / S31803) is ideal for high pressure and highly corrosive environments. Stress corrosion cracking is often a barrier to using 304L, 316L, or 317L when necessary conditions such as temperature, tensile stress, oxygen, and chlorides are present.
