SS 254 SMO Plate has excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as crevice corrosion and pitting. 1.4547 Stainless Steel material also resists general corrosion and stress-related corrosion cracking.

Alloy 254 SMO sheet is an austenitic steel with low carbon content of only 0.8% and mechanical properties almost twice that of 300 series steel. SMO 254 plate is available in sizes ranging from 3mm to 100mm and thicknesses from 0.3mm to 120mm.
