WNR 1.4436 Material Hot Forming
For most thermal processing processes, the recommended operating temperature is 1700 – 2200°F (927 – 1204°C). For maximum corrosion resistance, materials should be annealed at a minimum temperature of 1900°F (1038°C) and water quenched or otherwise rapidly cooled after hot working.
