S347 Plate Material Composition

According to international standards, the main chemical composition range of S347 Plate is as follows: chromium (Cr) content 17.00% -19.00%, nickel (Ni) content 9.00% -13.00%, niobium (Nb) content ≥ 8 × C% (carbon content ≤ 0.08%), manganese (Mn) ≤ 2.00%, silicon (Si) ≤ 1.00%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.045%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.030%.

uns s34700 plate High temperature resistance

S347 Plate can maintain good mechanical properties in high temperature environments ranging from 600 ℃ to 800 ℃, with continuous use temperatures up to 800 ℃ and short-term use temperatures up to 900 ℃, making it suitable for the production of structural components under high temperature conditions.

This plate has good corrosion resistance to organic acids, inorganic acids (such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid), and neutral salt solutions, especially in environments containing chloride ions. Its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is better than that of ordinary S304 stainless steel plate.

At room temperature, the tensile strength of S347 Plate is ≥ 515MPa, the yield strength is ≥ 205MPa, the elongation rate is ≥ 35%, and the hardness (HB) is ≤ 187. It has certain strength and plasticity and can be subjected to cold working operations such as bending and stamping.

S347 Plate can be welded using arc welding, argon arc welding, and other methods. Preheating is not required before welding, and stress relief heat treatment is not required after welding (except for special working conditions).
