Chemical composition of Stainless Steel 347h Plate
S347H steel plate is an austenitic stainless steel, based on iron, containing 0.04%-0.10% carbon, 17.0%-19.0% chromium, and 9.0%-12.0% nickel. "H" means that it has undergone special heat treatment, in which niobium (Nb≥10×C%) combines with carbon to form NbC carbides, preventing chromium depletion at grain boundaries and inhibiting intergranular corrosion, making it corrosion-resistant in the sensitization temperature range of 400-850℃.

Physical and Mechanical Properties of UNS S34709 Plate
The density of S347H is 7.93 g/cm³, the coefficient of thermal expansion is 17.3×10⁻⁶/℃ at 20-100℃, the thermal conductivity is 16.3 W/(m·K), and the melting point range is about 1398-1454℃. In terms of room temperature mechanical properties, the tensile strength is not less than 515 MPa, the yield strength is ≥205 MPa, the elongation is more than 40%, and the Brinell hardness is ≤187 HB. Under high temperature environment, it can still maintain excellent strength and plasticity.
Manufacture Processing of 347h stainless steel sheet
The smelting adopts electric furnace primary smelting combined with VD or AOD process, and sulfur and phosphorus are strictly controlled. The ingot is treated with high temperature homogenization, the hot rolling needs to control the start and final rolling temperatures, and the cold rolling needs to control the reduction rate and annealing temperature.
