The ultra-low carbon design (C ≤ 0.03%) completely blocks the precipitation of chromium carbides, preventing corrosion collapse caused by chromium depletion at grain boundaries. It has passed ASTM standards. A262-E Huey test: corrosion rate as low as 1.6μm/48 hours. Maintains uniform austenitic structure after welding, with corrosion resistance in the weld zone consistent with that of the base metal, eliminating the risk of equipment weld failure.

Fully austenitic single-phase structure (solution treated to 1140-1180°C and water quenched) eliminates delta ferrite, preventing perforation caused by preferential corrosion of ferrite by ammonium methylate. High molybdenum + nitrogen synergistic (Mo 1.6-2.6%, N 0.09-0.16%) improves the pitting resistance index (PREN>33), significantly surpassing 316L in pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, making it suitable for chloride-containing media.
