Solution Annealing: Heating to a high temperature followed by rapid cooling eliminates internal stresses and restores optimal corrosion resistance and toughness.

Pickling & Passivation: Acid is used to remove surface oxide scale and weld heat tint, and a protective layer of chromium-rich inert chromium oxide is formed on the surface, which is crucial for corrosion resistance.

Cold Working: Cold drawing or cold rolling further enhances the tube's strength, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.
