ASTM A240 UNS S31803 Plate is a standard duplex grade duplex stainless steel alloy with a microstructure of austenite to ferrite ratio. Duplex 2205 Plate has a PREN value above 34 and has a lower pitting resistance than super duplex grades but better than most other stainless steels. SA 240 S31803 Sheet also has good resistance to corrosion cracking. Duplex S31803 plate can be used as a substitute for regular austenitic stainless steel coils.
